Guided by the theme “Bridging Discovery, Technology and Healthcare,” this year’s symposium reflects our collective commitment to advancing biomedical science through meaningful integration of research, innovation, and clinical practice. As the biomedical landscape continues to evolve, the convergence of scientific discovery with digital and technological advancements offers unprecedented opportunities to address complex healthcare challenges.
This symposium brings together a diverse community of researchers, academicians, students and industry partners to exchange knowledge, share insights, and foster collaborations. The programme has been carefully curated to highlight key areas of contemporary importance, including non-communicable and communicable diseases, digital health and bioinformatics, and laboratory medicine and diagnostics.
As Chairman, I am particularly encouraged by the strong participation of early-career researchers and students. Initiatives such as the MyBiomed 2026 Student Travel Grant underscore our dedication to nurturing future leaders in biomedical science and providing them with a platform to showcase their work.
I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to our co-host, Taylor’s University, the organising committee, our distinguished speakers, sponsors, and all participants for their unwavering support and contributions in making this symposium possible.
